About Kassondra
Born in Ventura, California on October 8th, 1989. Kassondra grew up as what you would call a “dare-devil.” Flipping and jumping became an everday activity for her. Her parents, Kim and Alan, couldn’t stop her from doing cartwheels and handstands down the grocery store aisles. Kassondra started gymnastics at the age of 3 and began competing. An injury to both ankles while training for level 8 took her out of gymnastics for good. But, when one door closes another door opens. Kassondra found a strong interest in cheerleading. She competed for 6 years and still holds national titles. She also cheered at her high school, Saint Bonaventure, for 4 years and was captain 3 of those four years. She turned pro before her graduation and she now teaches summer camps and judges competitions with United Spirit Association. Kassondra graduated with honors and stayed in her home town her first year of college to pursue her music career as a singer. Her sophomore year of college she moved to San Diego to live on her own. She is currently a high school cheerleading coach while focusing on receiving her P.E. Credential. She joined 24 hour fitness and signed up with her personal trainer, Dave. From that moment, her life was changed.
Kassondra has won many national titles in the competitive world of gymnastics and cheerleading and she is looking forward to taking her experience to fitness competitions, where she will be competing next season. She is an active runner and has participated in events such as The La Jolla Half Marathon. She is also an active volunteer for the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and Dollar for Scholars. She is ISSA and AACCA certified and she is continuing her education as a personal trainer and looks forward to learning so much more.
Kassondra is very close with her family. She has an older brother, Geoffrey, whom she hopes will be moving closer to her next year and a larger bundle of pets. Chester, Roxy, Dodger, and Pancake. She loves her job and her 40-some kids (her cheerleaders ;]). She enjoys early morning work outs, CSI Miami, Oxygen Magazine, a large black coffee with splenda, and spending time with her friends.
Please feel free to contact her with any other questions!
